A very familiar
trailhead. |
Scramble: RT 6.5;
4.0 up (combined with Helena Ridge). From the top of Helena Ridge it
only took an hour to include this lovely viewpoint. Travelling on the
connecting ridge is enjoyable and care free. The traverse around the
summit block to the backside is short but miserably loose. Once on the
west shoulder, the scramble up the backside is short and easy. From
what I recall, the summit is not very spacious. Television still looks
very
far, no doubt that's for another day! The pictures were taken on
a later trip to Television Peak (Josée) and Castle Mountain (Fab) in
2006. |
