Silver Star Mountain Resort.
Hike: RT 2.0; 1.0 up. Silver Star Mountain isn't much of an objective; the short hike has minimal elevation gain and poses no challenges; however, it does offer views of the Okanagan Valley and the nearby Monashees. After a long period away from the mountains, I was eager to find a hike to a highpoint. My truck was out of commission, awaiting repairs; this meant we had to use the small car, hence why we chose to drive to the mountain resort. The bike season hadn't started yet, so the resort was awkwardly unoccupied. The ascent, alongside the gondola, was quick; we reached the top of the lift in under an hour at a casual pace. We sat on a bench, had lunch, and enjoyed the view; nothing more to say about that one!
