Hike:
RT: 1.25; 30 minutes up.
Following my ascent of the first and second peaks of Mount Seymour, I
returned to the parking lot with spare time. I decided to go on this
short stroll to visit the lookout. This well-marked trail has minimal
height gain; nearly anyone can hike it easily. If you are looking for
solitude, this objective
isn't for you! Given my later start, the trail was already busy. I
hushed past people in the deep, narrow snow trench. Although most
casual
hikers yielded, some appeared annoyed about my haste.
Honestly, other than the snow-covered lake along the way, there wasn't
much to see until the lookout. When I reached the viewpoint, the
challenge was taking pictures without having strangers stand in the
way. I still
enjoyed my brief visit and the view of Vancouver.
