Looking towards Harvey Pass. |
| Scramble: RT 6.0; 3.5 up. I didn't take my bike up to
Bourgeau Lake as I have done so many times. This great trail is now off
limit to biking. Even so, I made really good time on the trail. Once
past the lake, I started enjoying the surroundings; magnificent meadows,
lovely flora and streams are bordered by the south end of Mount Brett. The cirque is vast and
beautiful, I especially liked Harvey Pass and Harvey Lake. I recall
hiking rather care free, looking around savoring the moment. The broad
ascent slope offers good footing and with ease, I walked on the flat
summit. A cop from Calgary was standing there and welcomed me. |
